SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATISTICS
Eastern Visayas

Note to Readers:

Below are a number of socio-economic statistics obained by the NEDA Regional Office VIII from data producing agencies, namely, National Statistics Office (NSO), the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) and the Bureau of Agricultural Statistics (BAS).

The NEDA is not a data producing agency. Rather, it gathers selected socio-economic statistics from other agencies for its planning and monitoring activities. For data inquiries, please contact directly the agencies concerned.

The National Statistical Coordination Board serves as the Regional Data Center for Eastern Visayas. It is the repository of the most recent and historical statistics. The NSO, on the other hand, is the region's biggest data producing arm.

For provincial or city level data, please inquire directly from the concerned local governments.
